I am making some long overdue changes this week. I have been stuck and overwhelmed in an area of my life. I knew it was time to make a change 8 months ago, but I thought maybe the situation would improve. It did not. I held on because of others, because I felt that some of my worth was wrapped up in the area of my life. The past six weeks have brought some deep digging into why I felt that way, what needed to change, and how I was going to make those changes.
I believe in prayer and I spent a fair amount of time praying about this situation as I did not want to make a change that would be wrong. I asked for a very clear answer, even though I had known the answer for over a month now. Well, I got very clear confirmation, and within a few hours I set a plan out to move forward with my life and to follow my dreams, and create a new path for where I was heading in life. There were many aspects of this part of my life I enjoyed and loved, but it had become something that consumed more time than it should have and it was not healthy for me to continue to move on in this situation.
Change is not easy. Change is scary, particularly if it involves a change in finances, something that has become a part of our life, or just moving out of a very comfortable area of our life.
What is keeping you from moving forward in your life? What is holding you back from your full potential? What do you need to change or walk away from to be a better you, the you that God created you to be? What dreams have you put on hold that you want to accomplish this year? Join me today and take the steps to make some changes. You will not regret it!
Let me know what you are doing, or how you are moving forward to capture the life you deserve to live.
